2022 LARIMER COUNTY WORKFORCE INNOVATION GRANT

The Age Friendly Workplace Initiative (AFWI) is designed to link talent-hungry employers with experienced job candidates poised to onboard rapidly and make swift impact on productivity and profitability. Employers seeking intangibles like solid work ethic, dependability, and essential people skills will discover how to find ideal candidates with proven skills and experience. 

AFWI is a collaboration among the Partnership for Age Friendly Communities, Changing the Narrative, and Elevate Training, a program of the Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development Department. Our one-hour employer and community briefing strives to:  

  • Change mindset and increase knowledge about the benefits of hiring experienced job candidates. 

  • Provide easy-to-use, practical tools for identifying and hiring those candidates. 

  • Link to a hidden talent pool of job seekers with superior skills and experience.
