Kirsten Hartman has spent her adult life in Colorado and New Mexico. She has worked in the oil industry, city council as a legislative aide, as a massage therapist, and as a Real Estate Broker. Her most recent career as a Geriatric Care Manager drew upon her many work experiences and knowledge.
Cherrie Thornton grew up in New York state and Florida, where she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in mathematics. After earning her Masters in Counseling Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado in 1954, she changed her career path to mental health and social work with older adults.
Bonnie Shetler, retired in 2019 from private practice as a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in issues that arise during the middle and later stages of life.
Susan Devan Harness, author of Bitterroot: A Salish Memoir of Transracial Adoption, is a member of the Confederated Salish Kootenai Tribes. As a cultural anthropologist, a writer, and an aging person, she is interested in people and their histories.
Lynda McCullough is a health educator with UCHealth’s Aspen Club. She explored mental health and health careers and wrote on these subjects for various organizations before moving from Washington, DC to Colorado and becoming a yoga teacher and educator.
Esther Ferry is a retired Technical Writer who honed her craft delivering complex information in a clear, straight-forward style. In addition to writing, she enjoys sewing, gardening, and genealogy.
Linda L. Osmundson teacher, art docent, award-winning author, former dementia caregiver and speaker at art museums, OSHER Lifelong Learning, Alzheimer’s Association and writing conferences. Her five award-winning books reach ages 7-107 and hundreds of articles appear in magazines, anthologies (like Chicken Soup for the Soul) and newspapers.
Lynn Kloss retired from a career in employee benefit consulting in 2016. She went back to school after retirement to get her Masters in psychology, with an emphasis on geropsychology. She has volunteered with seniors and dementia patients since retiring.
Gary Raham is a teacher, graphic artist, illustrator, and writer. He has authored and Illustrated two natural history books, and writes science articles for publications such as Highlights for Children. He lives with his family in Colorado.

Jane Everham worked for 34 years in the public schools in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Fort Collins, Colorado. Since retirement in 2011, has actively volunteered with theLarimer League of Women Voters, Foothills Unitarian Church, and progressive politics.
Michaele Bradley has lived in Fort Collins for 31 years. In addition to writing, Mike likes gardening, volunteering and helping her friends. Growing up in California and working in hospital and nonprofit settings helped her to learn the value of volunteers.
Kristy Wygmans is a graduate of Michigan State University and has enjoyed owning several businesses, as well as being involved with the Foundation on Aging, Larimer County Office on Aging Advisory Board, and Pathways Hospice. She is a board member of Living Her Legacy.
After being nudged into early retirement in 2021, Mimi Wahfeldt has focused on writing fiction. Margaret A. Long , a resident of Fort Collins for over twenty years, worked in county human services in six Colorado counties for forty-four years. Prior to her retirement she was the manager of the Larimer County Office of Aging for eight years and since then has continued to be active in various committees and groups involving human services.
