The Culture of Aging Priority Group is engaged in a number of projects designed to raise the visibility of local older adults to highlight their needs, interests, contributions, and experiences, and to help them merge seamlessly into the fabric of our culture.

PAFC has formed a volunteer team of local writers who contribute monthly columns highlighting personal experiences related to aging. These articles have also been collected in a series of booklets. You can find the series on our Graceful Aging Blog page.

We have developed a training process for Tech Buddies, people who would enjoy helping older adults gain confidence getting online and into the virtual community. We work as a team and have recently undertaken a series of in-house clinics for local 60+ housing facilities. We are always looking for new ‘buddies’ to join the team..

PAFC has received a Workforce Innovation grant designed to link older workers to jobs via internships.

With Cares Act funding from the City of Fort Collins, a volunteer team created a prototype catalog of online opportunities of interest to older adults. Additional funding from the Daniels Foundation allows us to expand the scope of the catalog and provide technical support for individuals who wish to host their own virtual meeting or events.
